Doug Johnson
FOUNDER, PT, DPT, OMPT

Dr. Doug Johnson graduated from Wayne State University in 2004 with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy (MPT). After five years of clinical practice, he pursued advanced training through a two-year residency at Oakland University, earning a Graduate Certificate in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy (OMPT) in 2011. He further advanced his expertise by completing his Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) at Oakland University in 2013.

Doug has a passion for helping others and a constant thirst for knowledge. He stays current in the field and is always seeking ways to improve his craft. His advanced certifications include dry needling, blood flow restriction training (BFRT), Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) levels 1 and 2, and Functional Movement System (FMS). He is also certified by the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) in Golf Therapy at Level 1 and Medical Level 2 (M2).

During his free time, you'll find him exploring national parks, listening to podcasts, playing sports with his two children, or unwinding by the backyard fire with his wife and a cigar.
